I never would have thought I'd want a new toilet for my birthday, but I'm very excited to get this spiffy toilet. Check it out. You may want one too!

Those are great. I saw a fake ad for those once showing a line of them with their lids going up and down like a line of can-can dancers.

I feel a whole lot more the way I do now than I did a little while ago.

Nanners - that's the one I'm talking about. A friend of mine has one of these and told me they're on sale for $400. He said (with I believe a straight face, but can't be sure b/c we were talking on the phone), that this toilet seat "changed his life!" He doesn't have IBD, but still has some issues and he will talk about this toilet seat like he was talking about his child who won a Nobel Peace Prize or something. He should sell this thing on QVC because he is quite the salesperson. I've been waiting for them to go on sale, and since my birthday is coming up and it's on sale - it was meant to be. It's going to be a bit complicated though because we'll have to install an electrical outlet next to the toilet. I'm looking forward to someone asking me what my husband gave me for my birthday and being able to answer a "heated, water squirting, air drying toilet seat!"

PS - Nanners, thanks for activating the link. I have no idea how to do that.

Bidet update - my husband ordered and installed the Brondell Swash toilet seat and even hired a "handyman" to install an electical outlet with a little night light nearby. It's awesome. Just in time for my colonoscopy prep next week. If any of you are thinking of buying a bidet, Brondell is having a close out sale through the end of the year and they're selling least year's model for $200 off. It's a great investment.

I am CEO and Founder of Brondell (the website the woman listed) We often have customers with IBS, Crohn’s, and other medical conditions write to tell us how much our products have improved their lives. While I knew our products benefited people with these conditions, I had no idea to the extent until a woman recently wrote us the following:

“Having IBS has been a monkey on my back(side). The Swash has given me a new take on my post-movement lifestyle. The toilet is often an excruciating exercise for me, but Swash provides a comfortable refreshing finish to the ordeal. While the Swash doesn’t cure IBS, it makes living with IBS much, much more comfortable and bearable. I can’t imagine another day with IBS without the Swash!”

This woman goes on to describe how horrible IBS is for her personally. It took me aback because I had no idea what people with IBS and Crohn’s endure on a daily basis. As I searched the web, I learned more about the conditions, the number of people living with them, and typical symptoms. I realize now how beneficial our products are and that many have no idea products like ours even exist. I have created a promo code CROHNS for an extra 10% off any of our Swash bidet seats: http://www.brondell.com/products/SwashIntro.php

I hope this helps!
