I'm new to this forum and wondering if anyone can list any doctors using LDN for Crohn's sufferers in the Phoenix area. My husband has a stricture from Crohn's and will have a surgical consult on Dec 15. That seems so far away when he eats little or nothing each day. He has tried EVERY other drug and is currently down to 3mg of Entocort daily and isn't mentally ready for Remicade yet. We have researched low dose Naltrexone and it sounds worth trying. He's taking probiotics and drinking Chamomile tea and they seem to help some. These are things we have come up with while searching the internet. My husband's doctor is not willing to prescribe LDN, saying it's "experimental". Apparently there is a doctor at the Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale who might be willing but "the Mayo" doesn't accept Blue Cross Blue Shield of AZ. Does anybody out there know where I could find out which doctors in our area deal with LDN for Crohn's. PS I tried the ldn groups on Yahoo and haven't had a response. Thanks in advance to anyone who might be able to help.

Oh I was going to suggest the Yahoo groups. We only have a couple of people on it here. Good luck!
