I'm not a doctor but that sounds like gall bladder to me. In any event I am sorry you are ill. Hope you will be on track for the December holidays.
I use FD&C Blue dye number 1 and it really seems to help me.  There is SCIENCE behind this.  Just ask me and I will explain it to you.  U/C and Crohn's for 34 years.  Blue dye for one month and I am feeling pretty good!  I am so excited by this but I need others to try it with their doctor's permission.  Simple food coloring!!  BLUE1.
I can't make money on this, it's already in your kitchen.  I just want to help, especially the youngsters.
I do 2 drops in 6 ounces of water when I get up, 2 or 3 drops in 16 or 20 ounces of water that I sip all day and then 2 drops in 6 ounces of water at bedtime.   Max of 7 drops a day.

Well I don't think it sounds like gallbladder as when I had gallbladder problems I just hurt nothing else. (JMHO) I am sorry to hear you are flaring. Maybe you could eat a little mashed potatoes at least? Happy Thanksgiving to you too!

I had the pain of gall bladder over many years and did not know what it was. Always went away in a few hours. It wasn't until I had an acute episode with fever and on the floor pain that I went to the ER and was diagnosed.

Thanks for the info and well wishes.  Those are my flare symptoms.  When I was first went to the hospital 4 yrs ago and was diagnosed they thought it was my gall bladder. But nope those have proven to be my flare symptoms over the years. They are the exact same every time, like clockwork. I had a nice day despite not eating, i stuck to juice and broth for dinner.. yummy yummy ha!... Hope u all had a nice day!

I threw up and had D with my gallbladder (along with sever pain of course). But those symptoms also ring true to a flare up, and even the stomach flu. Hard to tell sometimes with us! But as it seems with you, we learn over the years what our flares feel like!

Hope your feeling better today!

paintedsongs,
this is exactly how I flare. Throwing up and having fever, big time pain due to obstruction/blockage, and the party use to end after 12 hours. Then on liquid for a couple of days untill next flare. Prior to LDN I flared like this app 2 a month. After started using LDN I have had 3 flares like this in 2.5 years. /Bee

The day before Thanksgiving, I woke up with awful pain. Usually 1/2 a loritab helps but I had to take another 1/2 when the first 1/2 didn't work. So, the pain went away but I was awfully nauseous all day. I had to keep eating soda crackers all day. Then on Thanksgiving, I was nauseous at noon but ok to eat way too much later on that night. I was so happy to not be sick for 3 whole days and to enjoy life for a change.  It was good to get away and have a break. I was sick all last December on through February. With IBD, it is one day at a time, sometimes one minute at a time. Now, it is back to the real world with my ct scan and scope following in a week. I am dreading it a bit, but I am getting used to all these procedures.

Hello! I am feeling great today, I have periods of feeling very tired and I took a short nap today. I am eating some foods again. I started yesterday with oatmeal and a banana. That was great and today I ventured to noodles. Yummy, yummy! Thanks for the kind thoughts... hope the worst is over here, feels like it is. How is everyone else feeling? Hope the cloud that was over Thanksgiving has lifted for us!
