I was diagnosed with chron's 5 years ago. I really havn't had much pain. My main problem is after a bowel movement my ab and stomach area is upset. I feel awful for 2 - 8 hours afterwards and then things calm down and then the next morning after a bowel movement it starts all over again. I have one bowel movement a day but I still have a constant hemoroid that won't go away. Lats time I saw the gastro doctor he blamed it on IBS and spastic colin and waqs hesitant to give me any stronger drugs for chron's. . I have tried a few IBS drugs but they have not helped. I am seeing the doc on Thursday and am not too optimistic he will do much for me. I am taking pentasa. Has anybody had this problem and if yes what drugs may help it. I want to go into the office with some information and come out with something that may help as I am tired of dealing with this. If I could just feel good for a few days at a time I would take it!!

Also, has anybody here had any type of surgery on there hemeroids? Tieing it with rubber band of laser surgery? I saw a specialist a few years back and she was also hesitant to do anything but said if it kept up to come back. If I could get rid of the hemeroids that would be a great help.

Thanks.
