HI everyone,
I have had positive ASCA blood tests (VERY high #'s), but in 3 tests (colonscopy, camera and small bowel series) no Chrons has been found.
Did it take long for others to get diagnosed as well???

Do you have any symptoms?? I too have a positive ASCA test at 129. I have read that sometimes the test turns positive before things get diseased in the GI tract. What does your GI say about all this?
I do have inflammation in my colon but so far they said it was non specific. Are your sed rate, CRP, and other blood values normal? Then again, some think that test is useless, the ASCA, that is. I don't think it is positive for no reason, so I am just keeping in touch with my GI. I get scoped next month and also a CT scan.
diagnosed 1/09 with "diverticular colitis" ?? location: sigmoid colon
localized scleroderma & IBS, low thyroid, claritin, advair, singulair, lisinopril, progesterone, colazal, fish oil, synthroid, zoloft, wellbutrin, VSL#3 probiotic, Vit. D
Blood test positive for Crohn's via prometheus ibd serology panel
