So far the score is:  Remicade 2, Brad 0.  I had my second round this morning.  I feel like poo to say the least.  Every joint and new areas I wasn't even aware of are hurting, they feel like someone has adminisdered the tourniquet from hell and refuses to let up.  I am not sure but I also think that I must have ran the 30 mile round trip to the offfice since I am so tired!  I have read that people have these problems, but has it been that bad for anyone else?  This is really depressing and I can't seem to make the pain go away and I am too sore to even sleep!  GRRRRR.  Just wanted to complain some, maybe someone is listening and has some advice.  I have all the heating pads going, pain meds in the belly, taking warm baths and trying to sleep.  Any other ideas my fellow Crohnies?  Thanks!

I was on remicade about a year ago, switched to Humira and it didn't work out to good for me. I was in the hospital about a week ago for 11 days and while there I got an infusion of Remicade. The next day I was extremely fatigued and my body just hurt (like you said) just to touch me it hurt, like my muscles had been working overtime or something. I'm getting my next infusion some time this week if all goes as planned and I'm worried I'm going to have the same reaction. The first go around with it I was fine, no reactions at all except a little tired. I hope this passes for you and the remicade leaves you symptom free! What has your Dr. said about you feeling this way??

Doc wants to wait and see how I am feeling in a few days, pain is common he says. He also made sure to send me home dopped up. It is kind of rough, but I really do hope that it puts me into remission for awhile. I found that if I try to keep my mind somewhere else I can do alright with the pain. I hope that your next infusion goes better! I will keep you guys posted on how it goes for me!
