smilewinkgrin well folks, as i sit today and ponder the last 10 years, i find myself feeling a bit sad but also a bit proud.. for thursday  (oops) the 17th will be the completion of 10 years on TPN! my how time flies . we took a trip today to see the first pharmacist that ran my TPN program from dec 99 to about mid '02. we chatted for a while and i found that she was getting a kidney transplant soon.. wow. and i feel bad for myself sometimes about my problems. ? though as tough as i have had things go over these last years, seems there is always somebody worse off, so i guess i shouldnt whine.  i did some quick cypherin' and found that with all the TPN infusions and al the antibiotics, i am pretty dang close to 4000 if not over. thats a lot i think.. and as for hours hooked up TPN plus antibiotics close to or exceeding 45,000 hours. thats a little bit more than 5 years! cry  5 years of life gone to get 5 more years...so far it seems worth the trouble. heres wishing for another 10 years with little complicationtongue .  thanks to all for reading all my crap over the years. its a good relief.   randy

Happy Anniversary Randy! 10th anniversary gift is tin...does this make you our tin man? We know you already have a big heart for all you share with us.
If it's possible to toast with TPN, let's raise a bag in your honor. Thanks for the time you devote to living a life we enjoy sharing

I'm in awe of your resilience and patience Randy. It would take a lesser person to get bent out of shape. So yay for TPN.
God Bless.
