My aunt suggested to my mom that I try juicing to get vitamins and stuff. Just wondering if any other Crohnies have tried it. If so, what did you start with, what were you able to tolerate, etc.??

I'm on coumadin, so I wouldn't try green veggies right now (the vitamin K alters the coumadin effectiveness, so it makes things complicated) but the nurse agreed that it might be a way to get much needed vitamins that I don't get.

Thanks in advance!

Tonight I was at a vegan restaurant in the city and I got a 'refresher' veggie juice, which was made of carrot, apple, cucumber, ginger and lemon. It was so delicious and easy on my stomach... it filled me right up too. I'm going to look into juicing at home as well because I really like it and it's a good way to get the fruits and veggies in raw + without the fiber.

I used to juice some, but it seemed to take a ton of fruit/veggies and a lot of cleanup. Now I just make smoothies occasionally.
