I am just looking for a good meal supplement shake that was gluten/dairy/casein free. Right now I make shakes that include coconut milk, rice milk, agave nectar, and soy protein powder, but this is a big hassle having to clean out a blender after each one. I was wondering if anyone knew of any high calorie, high protein meal replacement shake powder that meets the above requirements. Thanks for the help!

Ensure and boost are gluten and dairy free, not sure about casein.

When I have been in the hospital, the dietitian won't let me have Boost or Ensure because I am lactose intolerant. There is one that is available that they always put on my tray, but of course I can't remember the name. As far as I know it is only available from the hospital. Or at least that was what the staff told me. It is somewhat clear, unlike the other drinks. Boost and Ensure don't bother me, but they won't give me them since it is in my "permanent record" that I am lactose intolerant.

Managing with strict low residue diet, keeping symptoms to a minimum. All test show small amount of ulceration, still have occasional blockages. But still have a great time with my 2 daughters and husband!

That's strange.  It says right on the label of Boost and Ensure that it's lactose-free.
