It's always iffy when I have a cold and take Tylenol Cold.  Sometimes it doesn't upset the stomach, sometimes it does.  Is there something that works for you?  I have a doozie of a cold coming on.

Honestly? I just take Tylenol PM before I go to bed, and I make sure to drink a lot of peppermint tea and broth throughout the day. The rest and hot liquids seem to work pretty well. I also take plenty of hot showers and carry throat lozenges around just in case. They make it easier to get through long days anyway.

I'm sorry you're coming down with something...I hope you feel better soon! You know what they say though, plenty of rest and plenty of fluids!

Wish I could offer you something ragbag...I can only handle Tylenol Cold myself. Advil C&S used to knock colds right out of me, but boy the severe gut pain was not worth it.
I'm with LMills that the things I find best for me are the old school non meds....I sit over a pot of steaming water, saline water spray in my nose and gargle with salt water.
Maybe you can try regular Tylenol on top of the nonmed care if the cold version bothers your gut.

I have had something for the past 6 - 8 weeks. It just won't go away. For me sudafed along with tylenol works best. At night I take the nyquil pills. I also use a neti pot as much as I can and use throat lozenges and drink water or tea.

I like Zanne like to use the Neti Pot. It washes the bacteria out of your sinuses, you should check that out. I use Benedryl because it dries things up and helps me to sleep. Hope you get feeling better soon. By the way, I can't use Tylenol Cold cause it causes me leg cramps, wierd huh?

Same here. I will take something to help me sleep if absolutely necessary or to sooth pain in the throat but for the most part cold meds are just hype and not good for you. Salt water gargle, nasal irrigation, honey for a cough. Way better and I am NOT a healthfood guru type.
I use FD&C Blue dye number 1 and it really seems to help me.  There is SCIENCE behind this.  Just ask me and I will explain it to you.  U/C and Crohn's for 34 years.  Blue dye for two months and I am feeling pretty good!  I am so excited by this but I need others to try it with their doctor's permission.  Simple food coloring!!  BLUE1.
Your doctor will know nothing about this being for Crohn's, it is my observation.  Question is is it safe for you. I can't make money on this, it's already in your kitchen.  I just want to help.
I do 2 drops in 6 ounces of water when I get up, 2 or 3 drops in 16 or 20 ounces of water that I sip all day and then 2 drops in 6 ounces of water at bedtime.   Max of 7 drops a day.  Give it about ten days.  I am NOT a healthcare professional.   Ask your doctor if this is safe for you.  Same Blue dye that is in Gatorade etc.

Try some Zicam Zinc.  It will help reduce the amount of time you have your cold and so far I have had no reaction with my CD and it.

I use Theraflu. I seem to digest it easier because it's a liquid. Helps with nausea too!
