I'm 29 years old and was diagnosed with crohns disease about a year. I also suffer from thyroid disease. hypertension, vitamin b12 and d deficiency and ovarian cysts.

since my last colonoscopy, i have been very sick. my intensines are filled with air and my gi dr gave me a steroid to take. while the air has gone away, the pain hasn't. my back( around the spine area) have been in extreme pain as well as my abdomen area. It was also found, that during my flare up, i got a kidney stone. I've been in the hospital and they send me home in pain.

if anyone else understands, please feel free to respond. your input is needed. thx

I can only say that I'm sorry to hear that you have developed this DD.
I would call your GI asap and tell him/her that you are not feeling good.
I hope you feel better soon.

Maybe you can ask your doctor is you might have small intestine bacterial overgrowth(SIBO). That will cause alot of gas and bloating. My doctor put me on a 10 day course of Cipro and it healed it right up. Just a thought!

kitty, what did they do about the kidney stone? That can cause a LOT of pain, vomiting and sometimes even diarrhea. I've had family members with kidney stones. I hope you can get in touch with your doctor soon. Sounds like they need to do something for you. Keep us posted, ok?
