So I have been through a lot in the last year, from having what my doctor said was "routine GI surgery" to almost dying on the table of septic shock while my wife watched.  I have lost 60lbs off of 180 pound frame  and at 5'11 i did not have that much to lose.  But since my oestomy reversel in Oct 2009 i have gained about 30 of those puonds back eating a lot of cookies from Walgreens and klondike bars (oh and why is it i can eat a klondike bar but cant tolerate the milk i put on cereal?)
I am back to just eating a bland diet of pretzels,  PB&Js, and cheese pizza.  My body just wont handle any fresh fruit or veggies way to much fiber and roughage for my body.  I never thought it would get to the day all i would want is a salad but that day is here!!!

Anyway i go and see a pain specialst in about 2hours due to my contsant pain on my scar line, (have two abcess that come and go as they please) and constant shrap pain in my testicles.  For you men out there does anyone else get this pain.? It has kept me from working many times, it just brings me to tears.  Hope the pain specialist helps in any way possible.

Just thought i would let you know how things are going and thank you to all of you who help anwser my questions I have had in the past.  This forum really has helped me in many ways.

Thank you and best health to all!!!

Regarding the groin pain, it's not uncommon for men to have pain referred to there from the abdominal area. Since you also have pain on the scar line, it almost bet my house that this is the cause. If you're up to it and your doctor is ok with it, try some gentle abdominal stretching to regain some flexibilty in that area.
