Its pretty common for most Crohnies to wake up feeling bad first thing in the morning. I know I have to hit the bathroom within 5 minutes after I wake up.

Feel normal on awakening then the sips of water from taking morning pills trigger a bowel movement. If it doesn't I'm careful of what I eat or don't eat.
