my mom had crohn's disease 28 years ago . she had 2 operation .
1 month ago she had anal abses . she did the operation one week ago to remove the abses and the doctor removed for her the hemmoroids with out asking us . she is now in severe paaaain . she cant sleep  and she cant set . i feel so ungery because i always knew that hemmoroids operations is not for crohn's disease patients and i feel that this pain is killing her .
what do u think? does the doctor has the right to do  that?

I don't know about removing hemerrhoids as I haven't had any. However, after the abscess was cut and cleaned (the first time especially) I was pretty darn sore and it hurt to sit. Did her doc give her anything for pain management? It sounds like she needs something to help her get through the worst of it.

I have a friend who does not have Crohns but recently had the hemmoroid surgery, she said it was really, really painful. Her doctor even warned her that it would be. I agree that frequent sitz baths may be of help. Tell her to hang in there, better days are ahead. Good luck!

My mom had her breast removed and part of her rib cage to rid herself of cancer  and she said her hemroid surgery that she had a couple years later was amore painful surgery. So I can't imagine how painful this must be for your mom . I hope she gets some pain relief very quickly.

Your love and concern is evident. Based on the answers above I think that her current pain may be normal. Work on solutions to the pain like contacting the doctor for better pain medication or doing the sitz baths as suggested above. I had some kind of fistula rectum surgery some years ago. They left gauze sticking out as a "drain". I touched it, TWO times, in the shower (IIRC). I learned the meaning of "blinding pain". Shortly after a neighbor from a half mile away knocked at the door. She wanted to know if I would sing at her opera.

The opera is a joke but: nice warm sitz baths or showers and call the doctor and let her know that it is BAD and Mom needs help. A week she should be starting to feel a little better i think. Luck to her.
