Well it finally got here, my resection to remove the narrowed anastamosis site from my previous surgery is tomorrow.  I'm trying to keep the attitude that it's going to improve my quality of life and not to stress too much.  So I'm starting the dreaded prep, Miralax and Gatorade to start with.  But I only mixed half a dose in case I can't stomach any more Gatorade I'm going to switch to grape juice.  Last time I threw up about 2/3 of the way through.

I just wish the darned procedure nurse would call already and give me the time & final intructions -- can you tell I have no patience??? lol lol  Anyway, wish me luck.  Time to down another 8 oz.

Hi Lorraine, very best wishes with your resection. I hope it makes a huge difference to your quality of life and that you'll feel much better.

I could be looking at a second surgery - also at anastamosis site of last surgery which has narrowed again, so i would love to hear how things work out for you post surgery. Maybe you could keep us posted.

PS good luck with the prep, they are nearly the worst part of the whole procedure. I feel ill just thinking about them

Best of Luck,
Lila
