I was on a cruise 5 years ago and used Bonine instead of the patch or dramamine (both of which whack me out terribly including hallucinations).  The bonine worked really well, but I was still a little sluggish.  Someone told me to take it right before bed instead of in the morning.
Has anyone taken it at night???  Did it bother your gut on no food?  Did it work well the next day?
I am going to take the bonine no matter what...just looking for a way to improve on it.  Our last cruise left from New Orleans so it was really rocky going down the MS river--not enough water to disperse the weight of the ship.  This cruise leaves from Miami so I am thinking that will help too.
Dx'd '90 (emergency rupture), symptoms ignored long before that, '03 fistulas and bad flagyl reactions, B12 weekly, Pentasa [until I surrender to the bigger meds]
I'm riding on the escalator of life....

First bit out of Miami is a little rocky but after that a fair smooth ride. Why not ask a local Pharmacist?
