Hi Everyone, This up coming Tues. My Dad is having hip replacement surgery on his left hip. He has
been in the hospital since last tues. Can everybody send him prayers.

Hi, I am teddybearweiser, I am a male.
I was diagnosed with crohns disease when i was admitted to the hospital

in 1992, in Jan of 1993 I was back in the hospital for surgery for my crohns. I had part of my right colon resectioned with ilecolonstomy.

My GI doctor has me on and Humira. B-12 injection once a month.
Also diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis.

Diagnosed with crohns at 13 now 43
Reversal of temp stoma Postponed till ???????
Meds: Iron syrup,Loperimide,Folic acid & Citalopram 60mg (for Anxiety.)

Diagnosed with Crohns in 2001
First and hopefully last Ileocecectomy 2/18/2009

Medications:Humira,  Asacol, FolicAcid,  Multivitamin, 1000mg Calcium, Vitamin D, Probiotics, Pepcid Complete, Questran,  Monthly B-12 injections.

Living a Great life with my Wife and my two Chocolate Labs
Hunter & Hailey.
I love them dearly.

Praying for you Dad! I hope the surgery is very successful, that he has an easy pain-free recovery, and he is back on his feet very quickly!
Diagnosed with Crohn's in early 2007.  Several peri-rectal abscesses and two fistulae with setons.  Allergic to Remicade and Humira.  Currently on 6MP, and vitamins D and B-12.

good luck for your pop's he'll be glad of replacement, like a new man

cd since 1970 4 surgeries 2 resections still flareing away, right now pred, and vicodon when needed plus vegan diet

Of course Teddy you know you can always count on your HW family for prayers. May his surgery go on without a hitch and his recovery be smooth. Big hugs to you both!

Crohn's Disease for over 34 years. Currently on Asacol, Prilosec, Estrace, Prinivil, Diltiazem, Percoset prn for pain, Zofran, Phenergan, Probiotics, Calcium, Vit D, and Xanax prn. Male with Crohn's since 15 years old, diagnosed at age 46. Terminal ileum resected 2002. 5 months of remission. Crohn's has now been active since early 2003.Had a gall bladder removed Nov. of 2009. Currently on Remicade every 8 weeks, Nexium, Iron, B-12 injection every 4 weeks, Morphine Sulfate as needed for pain. Cymbalta for long term pain control.5-asa Salofalk, Entecort, Imuran and Prednisone in the past.

parying all goes well and he has a good recovery. And I know this is hard to do but try not to stress too much. You have had your share of health problems and you need to take care of yourself now also....
