Well I do.

Sometimes I am like humm.. I haven't gone to the toilet in 4 hours there must be something wrong with me :)

I feel like I have forgot what it is like to have a regular BM like normal people, maybe going to the bathroom once to twice a day not 10 times.
I am having a hard time thinking about what I would do with my day if I did not have to spend it in the bathroom.

what is autoimmune hep? I have hep c from getting dirty blood from transfusion in 1970, they didn't have screening's back then. I don't drink alcohol so my hepc will never be an issue. but I do know hep can work at your digestive system

Autoimmune hepatitis is a disease in which the body’s immune system attacks liver cells.

I just went on vacation and something about flying and eating off schedule and different foods made my system go all wonky. I didn't go for a couple of days. It wasn't a blockage, cause I didn't have any pain or bloating, but I was all confused. I didn't know what to do with myself. Free time not spent in the bathroom, plus I wasn't looking for a bathroom all the time. It was like living like a real person!

I do a happy dance yeah on those rare odd days when the bathroom is not a place to run to.  I have to keep from the paranoid feeling of "uh oh is something wrong if I am not my usual self".  Then I just dance around until my husband says I am nuts tongue
Dx'd '90 (emergency rupture), symptoms ignored long before that, '03 fistulas and bad flagyl reactions, B12 weekly, Pentasa [until I surrender to the bigger meds]

I remember the first time after years and years of the big "d". Before I knew I had CD (was told it was IBS) I had a regular check up and my doctor put me on an anti-anxiety med. It caused me to have a normal bm for the first time in years. I told my doctor it didn't do anything for my anxiety but it sure was wonderful to have a normal bm. I wanted to stay on it just for that reason.

Withing a few weeks I developed a fistula to my bladder and had to have emergency surgery to repair. That is when I found out I had Crohn's. I don't know if it was a coincidence or if maybe a firm bm caused damage to an already damaged colon. I did lose half of it because of extreme scaring and disease.

I’ve been on remicade since October 5 last year and I STILL do double-takes when I see formed BMs’! After 4 years of non-formed horrible stuff, it’s such a welcome change!! I think it will take me years to get used to it!

I joked with my new GI dr. that I haven't seen a "solid" poop in three years!!!

BUT I am getting a TB test today to ensure that I'm good to go for Remicade, so maybe I'll have one soon! I won't know what to do with myself!!! haha

My kiddo has normal BMs with the entecort she is currently taking, and the Pentasa. This however is NOT stopping her pain.  What's worse, diarrhea, or stabbing pains in the gut for a 9 year old?  And nothing to help the pain. Tylenol doesn't touch it. She's so sad.  Grrrrrr

I got so excited when I had the perfect solid poo. Heck, it was unknown in my world for the last 6 years or so. Makes you feel 1 again, taliking with a toddlers lisp, happy to pooping in the potty.

I certainly like normal BMs. They have been happening a lot more recently, but sometimes it is a little too solid... So instead of internal bleeding I have had some other bleeding.... But I am trying to work on that with trying out different doses of probiotics and stool softeners.

Not a chance. It's always a highlight for me and I anticipate its appearance in the toilet. Sad thing to look forward to, isn't it?
