I have this gurgling sensation in my rectum. I am not sure if I am starting to go back into a flare where i have seen a little blood and mucus but it seems to go away and then I might see it a few days later again. I'm a little nervous about this feeling/noise/sensation in my rectum. Has anuone else ever had anything like this? I am also getting stomach cramps and some urgency again which thank goodness I am able to control since I am working. I am on 100 mg of 6mp and 40 mg of bentyl and 4.8 gms of Lialda. I'm just really confused. Thanks for any help

That is an unusual one ! Not common at all. All I can say (pure guess, mind nono) is that if you can control the urgency, your rectum is obviously doing its work as an... idea well, think airlock, but with a different substance - and so it is not something to worry about. At worst it is fluid leaking into the rectum as a result of inflammation higher up in the gut causing electrolytic imbalance, which is what causes diarrhoea to be so watery.
eyes That's just a guess, mind. My problems tend to often affect the same area, but it's not a symptom I've ever had, or remember reading about.

It sounds like you could be developing proctitis (inflammation of the rectom), if so then the best thing to do is get on some rectal meds, the sooner you nip it in the bud (or butt in this case LOL) the better. You should always report new symptoms to your GI though, then he'll be able to check for sure what's going on.

bee propolis caps 500mg one cap twice/day
omegas 369 caps one cap twice/day
probiotics 10 billion cfu once/day
vitamins C-calcium ascorbate (easy on the gut) and vitamin A each once/day
Prodiem fibre supplement one cap before bed
I've also altered my diet (no junky stuff at all, processed, fast-foods, refined sugars, ect) and exercise regularly.
I went from 30+ bloody BM's/day with lots of lower back pain to an average of 5/day no bleeding no back pain and completely formed stools, still have severe urgency issues.
