How often do you have office visits with your GI doc? Do you have medication follow up appointments ? I started lialda 3 weeks ago and I actually feel worse. I think I am going to try the cortifoam that I have tonight to see if I can get some relief.
This gets so frustrating. My doc gives you the meds and you don't get a follow up apt. They just want you to call them if you have a problem. I am especially frustrated because they don't seem to know what I have besides inflammation. My blood test is positive for crohn's, right now my biopsies are negative, CT scan shows inflammation and I still feel like s--t. I think I would feel better if the biopsy said I had crohn's because then I would know for sure it is not going away. Now, I just feel like I am living in limbo. I need to change jobs because this one is cutting my a-- with long hours doing things not on my job description (such as traveling long distances.) So, yes, I am stressed out and sometimes I wonder how that is impacting all of this. I am worried to start a new job (if I could find one) because I get so sick in the mornings. I feel caught between a rock and a hard place. I started looking and feeling better during my christmas vacation time off. Since coming back to work in January, I am already tired and stressed out. I need a new job (or to give up and apply for disability.) That's how bad I feel-:) Thanks for letting me vent. I seem to do a lot of that here. I hope to one day post something good about all of this. I have an apt with my primary care doc tomorrow. Maybe she can shed some light on this and at least get rid of the costochondritis that has also been plaguing me.
