Okay, anyone else have this along with their Crohn's????  I just found out that I have this as well, but it's very minor so we've seem to have caught it early!  Just wondering if this is common for Crohnies, since it also is a auto-immune disorder.

Thanks!  I wonder how many Crohnies might have it but be undiagnosed?  For me, it is a huge relief, in a sense, to know I've got it in a minor way.  Some of the main symptoms can be fatigue and sluggishness.  I always knew it wasn't just because of the two kids that I was tired!  I'm also glad so that it didn't get worse and continue to attach my tyroid until it was gone.  Yikes!

I'm also just starting to research it, so that's why I was asking other people, in case someone else can share what they know about it and we can all learn!

As you can see on our thyriod forum both mod's have IBD. Mine is not H.T., but I have a tendency to vary between hyper and hypo thyroid depending on my disease is going.

I had Graves disease first, and I remember the endocrinologist who treated it telling me that when you have one autoimmune disease, you're far more likely to get others. My body has since proven him correct. I was diagnosed with IBD a few years later, and have had other fun things since.

I'm happy for you that your HD is mild!
