Anyone ever get pain in the lower left or right ribcage in the back?
Almost like RIGHT on the last rib or just below it.

It's not really consistent pain but on and off.. I have been eating a lot of Cheese nipz crackers. and Chicken nuggets.. etc.. I think Its gas.. I also noticed it after I had a Chicken sandwich from mcdonalds before bed. probably shouldn't of done that..

I think it is probably gas related.

I notice it when i stand up or hiccup or cough.

Yes I definately get that pain during a flare up but I ocasionally get it other times. I consider it in the kidneys myself, which lie under the bottom ribs on each side.

You can eat McDonalds???? That alone would cause me major pain and I am in remission. I have had two resections and a bunch of other surgeries so for me at least when I have a irritated gut, the adhesions in that area get irritated and cause me soreness and pain.

hmm. unreal. I think my anxiety and mental aspect of life at the moment totally messes my crohn's. I mean I was told i needed 15cm of bowel removed because my symptoms are always on and off..

than i was told i didnt because they were shocked I could eat steak, chicken, chinese food etc etc, and never had an obstruction. And this is coming from the University of Chicago..

I wonder if im making my "symptoms" or Small issues seem to large

Anxiety can definetly affect your Crohns. I don't flare so much when my anxiety is up, but it causes an increase in diarrhea, nausea and cramping. Once I take my Xanax I can knock it right out and get back to normal. Good luck!

nanners, I think I figured out why.. I woke up with a bunch of night sweats and also this ribcage pain started AFTER i started this miralax. I read that is DRAWS water to the colon which is BAD BAD BAD for a Crohnie with diarrhea.

No wonder im going so much EVEN with the fentanyl on.. My intestines are like Colonoscopy prepped or lubricated per say.

So i read it Can cause back pain, increased gas and flatulance. Im going to stop it for awile and only use it when im real backed up. Going to stick to the Bulk forming laxative and ses if regularity is better for me. It's better for the crohn's. Just hope it allows normal bowel movements to pass.. haha. Never had anything but diarrhea so not used to "normal stool"
