due to my new regimeny of pred. I feel alittle constipated, my normal routine is 2-4 times in the morning, now it's a bit of stuggle some days, so I've been drinking smooth move tea, it has senna leafs in it. it works but I was told by an older gi don't get dependent on it, but now it's like okkkk but? I was never a big fan of drinking any form of laxative

I take stool softners nightly and they work fine for me.  Also, stool softners are NOT laxatives.  I think that is why the doctor told you to be careful, laxatives longterm can be problematic.  My gi has no problem with me taking the stool softners nightly. Have you tried Miralax?
