For the last two months or so I have been having this weird thing in my eye.

I maybe just watching TV or walking the dogs and all of a sudden I get this weird feeling in my eye like I cant keep them open and get all teary eyed.

And if I try to keep them open then it hurts not very bad but really uncomfy.

Has anyone had this ? and know what it is ?

I'll bet you it is from medication. PROBABLY the Humira. I get this randomally from remicade causing an eye irritation. Your eyes may be sick or some type of minor cold. I know exactly what you are saying.. You feel like your crying a bit and want to rub them all the time. and everytime you blink your vision gets cloudy because of the tears right?

My eyes are red, inflammed and just today, things are becoming blurry. When do we chaulk this up to the disease and when should we get an eye problem checked out? I'm already on 45mg pred and 50mg Imuran.

you know my gi told me that cd suffer's are very prone to pink eye, I'm in the casino business for 51/2 yr's and I've had pink once or twice a year, I use steroid drops, that's the only thing that helps, lotemax. I'm on imuran and 15mg pred. might as well put that stuff in my eye's. it really helps.

Is lotemax an eye drop? Do you go to an eye doc or your GI for that?

I got the drops from eye dr. but complained before to my gi about eye issue's and he said that cd can be suseptical to pink eye problems. so I'm always wahing my hands at work, we have those dispensers in all of our pit's that have hand sanitizer goop. and if I have an eye itch I use the nuckle of my thumb, money and chips are the worst harborers for germs,
