Been to the doctors this morning again, the blood tests results came back all abnormal again. Liver function up as well as all the inflammatory markers too :(
Back on 20mg prednisolone again tapering down by 5mg every week, then this is the scary bit....when I get down to 10mg I have to do prednisolone retention enemas..... I dont know if I am going to be able to tolerate sticking anything in my anal canal or not, last time a doctor tried examining that area I couldnt let him do it because it was that painful. Any suggestions of the best way of doing it, to ease the pain a little, other than petroleum jelly?? or getting totally drunk first!!! lol
Also, some how I am going to have to do it myself, my partner I think would be too sqeamish to be able to do it, and I dont know if I could actually bring myself to ask him to do it either!

just grin and bear it? i know thats no help, but as for the dr exam, if it is that painful, i would ask for some sedation first , like for a colonoscopy.. it might cost more, but it might be worth it in the END>
