I have been recently flaring up quite a lot and am on prednisone. Last night for the first time I used the predsol retention enema which I went to the toilet straight after quite alot, my butt was sore from that but after douching with a warm flannel was fine. Then later on during the night I had a bowel movement, very runny, greeny coloured and mucousy. I thought I was never going to stop going! I sat on the toilet for about 10 mintes before I eventually stopped. When I wiped myself there was a lot of red blood mixed in with what was on the tissue paper.I am not sure if it was from the hemroids or not, as this is the first time I have seen blood on a tissue, and so much of it.Also my stomach felt like someone was twisting and turning it as well.
Then this morning, as soon as I got up I started going to the toilet alot again and more blood, and it looked like the colour of the water was also bloodified, couldnt see if it was in the movement as it was some what watery, also more blood and quite alot on the tissue again. I did look at my hemroids and they dont look swollen or thrombosed, but my butt is just so painful at the moment and my stomach is very sore as well.
Any suggestions?? Im sitting here in a lot of discomfort and dont know what to do! Should I be overly concerned, I have never sufferd with fistulas, so dont know what they look like and Im not sure if I have skin tags and not hemroids. But when I feel round the anal area I have got like a bulge underneath the skin and under the what seem to be hemroids???
Any help would be appreciated, I dont know whether I should go to the doctors or wait it out and see what they day unfolds. Also I have only just started the predsol retention enemas, and if this is what happens every time I do one, which I have to do for a week, then I dont think I can do it :((
