I don't think there is any home remedies for thrush. You could try gargling with salt water. I know they will give you this medicine that you gargle in your mouth.....Hope you are feeling better soon...

I found that the manual way was the most effective. If you get a tongue scraper and use it vigilantly, you should get good results.  If not, then there is a rinse called Nystatin (sp.). You should get it under control with either way.
My daughter was diagnosed Feb. 19/07, (13 yrs. old at time of diagnosis), with Crohn's of the Terminal Illium. Has used Prednisone and Pentasa. Started Imuran (02/09), had an abdominal abscess (12/08). 2cm of Stricture.

Not sure of any home remedies. But since its a yeast infection, you could try some yogurt and just holding it in your mouth for a bit before swallowing.

When I had it they gave me Nystatin (sp), but I am terribly sensitive to taste and I could not tolerate it. After about 3 days of it I finally asked the nurse if there was anything else they could give me and sure enough there was. Diflucan. One pill, once a day, instead of a mouth rinse, three times a day. I was in the hospital on clear liquids and miserable so any little bit made my life better. Good luck.

Managing with strict low residue diet, keeping symptoms to a minimum. All test show small amount of ulceration, still have occasional blockages. But still have a great time with my 2 daughters and husband!

Yep, try the diflucan. One pill will do the trick.

I take Nystatin for my thrush. It's not bad tasting for me but it doesn't feel like it's working. I think I may have to try Diflucan.
