OK, today i felt pretty good for most of the day.  However, the past three days have been light headed, dizzy and bad headaches.
for those that are following my previous posts, my anemia is just not getting better.  Lastest Hemoglobin is 9.4 same as last week.  Just saw my reg doctor who did her own labs.  her nruse called back and said i was dehydrated.  they stopped one blood preasure pill (Quinnapril) as it works with the kidney function.  Curiously, they did not stop my diuretic????? they also said to drink more fluids-i already am and check my blood preasure 2 times a day.  I see her next week.
So here is the question.  do you think the anemia and the dehydration are related?  if so what should I suggest to the Drs?  I am begining to wonder if I need a blood transfusion to jump start they blood.  they almost gave me one 2 1/2 weeks ago in the hospital but the hemoglobin stablized at 8.2.   I really think my second "bleed out" when recovering at home was a lot worse than they thought.
I am suppose to start back to work on tuesday.  My reg Dr says with my blood work, that is too soon.  But the surgeon who wrote the papers to support the STD (short term disability not the other thing it stand for  tongue )  has released me for his care since the incision has healed perfectly and there is no signs of bleeding. I have seen him 4 times since the surgery and second hospital stay.
Thoughts on what I should do? has anyone had similar symptoms?  am i crazy?  I am begining to think that i am given that i can have one really good day and then 3 bad days!!! UGH....
has anyone else had their STD extended due to complications?
I am confused and very frustrated.
