I was recently diagnosed with CD. I would like some help with what are the best foods to eat. Please give me some opinions?

Hello and Welcome. Safe foods are very individual for all of us. Some of us do well on low residue diets while others can eat lots of foods with fiber. It also is one of the most frequently asked questions. A good place to start is the search function at the top of the page on the right side. Click on it, then put in Safe Foods, Crohn's and you will get all the latest threads we have had on the topic and you can read through them to get a good understanding of what has been discussed.

You will find lots of friendly people here who are always willing to lend an ear.

CD 20 years officially, 30 unofficially. 3 resections '93, '95 '97
Managing with strict low residue diet, keeping symptoms to a minimum. All test show small amount of ulceration, still have occasional blockages. But still have a great time with my 2 daughters and husband!

Prednisone, 6MP,Prevacid, B12 shots, Bentyl, Xifaxan.....

The commonality in all diet approaches is higher protein (and often natural unprocessed fats) and a reduction in carbohydrates. These particular carbohydrates to avoid would be the lectins:
