Yesterday (sunday) I was feeling fine, I could eat and drink again, it was fantastic! Then around 2 am this morning I started puking, fever was back, couldn't handle anything in my stomach, threw up 3 more times before I called my GI dr about all this then 3 times afterwards. He wanted to see me right away, went in and he thinks my Crohns has spread to my stomach, or it could be pancreatitis.  He immediately squeezed me in for endoscopy tomorrow morning to check my throat and stomach for ulcers. I will probably be admitted afterwards. :( He'll probably even do a CT scan to check my pancreas.

Just when I had started to get better I get worse... *sigh* will I ever be well again?

What should I expect from the endoscopy?

Here's all I remember from my endoscopy....going in to the room, them putting a strange plastic thing in my mouth to keep me from biting the scope....then waking up. I had a scratchy throat, but nothing else.

I wonder the exact same thing sometime. Sometimes anything that can happen does. And sometimes just when you think you're over something, it starts all over again.

Hopefully they'll get to the bottom of things and get you on the road to recovery. Let us know how things go! (Are you able to take your computer to the hospital?)

My experience was the same as Bar77. Very easy procedure. Good luck!

Good news!! I don't have pancreatitis! :D I do have 2 ulcers on my esophogus and my stomach is inflamed. Will be taking Omeprazole for the ulcers. I don't need to be admitted either, so happy! :)
