This is overdue, so I better get started. As you know, he was in the hospital for a week for loss of weight and high heart rate. Well, we just found out he might have Cardiomyophy. He's supposed to get an MRI on his heart in about 3 weeks. They've started him on Carvedilol 3.125 MG, to be increased as time goes by. Also, Lisinopril 0.5 Mg. They also put him on Vitamin D and Vitamin A, Iron, and multivitamins. He received iron by IV in the hospital, and it brought his iron levels from 11 to 300.

He also has Crohns of course. He's supposed to get a bone scan in April.

Sorry to hear about the heart issues. I have to take Lisinopril myself, but mine is for high blood pressure. I sure hope he gets feeling better soon. Hugs to you both!

Thanks Nanners and Grandpato2. It's so good to see him eat again. Now I need to see a doctor for my ailment. I think I have a bladder infection, and it's painful.

I have a chronic bladder infection and cranberry juice clears it up faster than antibiotics do. I fact it clears it up long before I could get in to see doc. Hope you get that under control soon, I know that burn.

That's just it. I don't have the burn. Mostly just pain in the lower pelvic area and lower back. It feels like a real heavy period, but I don't have them anymore because I had a hysterectomy years ago. I'm going to the doctor in the morning. Sorry about the OT.

No worries about the OT, just really hope everyone gets to feel better.

Well, I went to the doctors this morning. The doctor didn't see anything in my urine, but she's going to send it off to another more thorough lab. They also took some blood. She suspects that I might have an intestinal infection(ironic since my son has Crohns) She prescribed some antibiotics and said if I don't feel better in 3 days to let her know.
