Nanners Omega 3

scoolIn a post on vitamin d and omega 3's you said you were trying to find one you could tolerate. I looked at mine, it's an enteric coated omega 3 capsule, which unfortunately is a Canadian store brand but definately you should look for it. Robsmile
Male, 54 years old with Crohn's since 15 years old, diagnosed at age 46. Terminal ileum resected 2002. 5 months of remission. Crohn's has now been active since early 2003. Had a gall bladder removed Nov. of 2009. Currently on Remicade every 8 weeks, Nexium, Iron, B-12 injection every 4 weeks,5-asa Asacol, Morphine Sulfate as needed for pain. Cymbalta for long term pain control. 5-asa Salofalk, Entecort, Imuran and Prednisone in the past.

I was in GNC not too long ago and they were passing out samples of a chewable orange flavored Omega 3. It was like a Tootsie roll and was actually pretty good. I didn't burp up anything afterward either.

Thanks Grandpato2!! I saw a enteric coated Omega 3 in my local health food store recently. I asked on the forum if those were easily tolerated but no one gave me an answer. I may have to try one and see how I do. Really won't lose much as hubby can take them if I can't. Hugs!

No problems at all especially no fishy reflux or burps.

I know I can't use the Flaxseed type, but will definetly give the enteric coated fish oil ones a try. Thanks for your help.
