seems the new healthcare legislation "forgot" to cover children on the pre existing clause so the health insurance companies dodged that bullet. this was reported 1 hour ago on the AP wires.... health secretary Sebeilius says they will try and fix it as soon as possible with new regulations.. gee aint that special not included in the law but well do it anyway. how many more 'mistakes" are in it ?skull

Aint it odd that the ones that wrote it exempted themselves from participating in it ???

Geeez Nanners, I'm being nice. If I be bad you can put me in the corner with a pointy hat. BUT, I have to pick on VietVet . Thats the only way to drag him out of his winter den.

Looks like this bill screwed me by reducing the amt we can contribute to health savings accts. I've be able to put 5500.a yr to cover my 4500 deductible with the rest being used for dental or eye care. Now the max contribution allowed will be 2500 a yr...unless I misunderstood. Does anyone else know about this part of the bill or does anyone else use a health savings acct
diagnosed 13 days following an MMR vaccination at the age of 44
tried Colazal, Pentasa, Immuran, Remicade, Prednisone, Cipro, Flagyl, LDN, Osiris clinical study,  accupuncture, began Cimzia 5/2009

Why is it political if we are knocking both parties?? Do we REALLY think they read the entire bill before they voted for or against it? Heck, they didn't read the financial bailout before they approved it and bailed out some of the biggest crooks and drains on our economy w/no strings attached!

Hey guys...I work in the health insurance industry and I can't figure out all of the bill.  I felt fairly stupid until one of the leaders of self insurance medical and a very knowledgable man said that....he and his team poured over the bill and found very clear statements that would then be contradicted 10 lines later.  I don't feel so stupid anymore at least.

Dx'd '90 (emergency rupture), symptoms ignored long before that, '03 fistulas and bad flagyl reactions, B12 weekly, Pentasa [until I surrender to the bigger meds]
I'm riding on the escalator of life....
