So I will have to do some reading up on it since I've never heard of it. But I've been doing well the past few weeks by chewing my food good and sticking to a blander diet, and eating smaller meals and so on. I really don't need anti-diarrheals now (just barely on and off 1/2 a pill) and I've been taking massive amounts of probiotics, found a decent one that seems to be helping (I'm assuming I have too much fungus in my system from the last set of antibiotics). I am up to about 30 billion organisms per day, I do say it's helping...I would like to go up to 60 billion.

I have also got my results back from my food allergies test and hopefully this will help, I am allergic to bananas, asparagus and oysters. I eat the first two all the time! So maybe that will help my stomach/indigestion issues and stuff. It's REALLY good to know this, and I can keep having my organic decaf coffees! yeah!

I don't necessarely Think you are allergic to Bananas and Asparagus. Those aren't known to cause allergies.
If you had IgG and IgE testing...

To tell you the truth.. Even simple things can "Show" allergenic.

I had a test done to, and it said i was allergic to almost everything. Turns out when you are flaring.. And it seems like you kind of are.. their are A LOT of proteins in our bloodstream which everything is going to show this.

Sorry to say, but I think those are False positives. They aren't true allergies..

but then again some tropical fruits can cause symptoms.. So please don't get offended if i am telling you otherwise. Always listen to your healthcare professional. Anything is possible. Were all different.

Well, I can always try an elimination diet. I had a blood test from the Ear/Nose/Throat doc which showed no allergies. Then I had a blood prick test from my Naturopath which says bananas, asparagus and oysters. I get problems when I eat dairy or wheat, so I have no idea why those wouldn't show up. I'm not allergic to everything, but just by elimination and trial/error I get issues when I eat wheat, cow's milk (including cream cheese, sometimes dressings, whey, etc, but not yogurt or ice cream or cheese), malt barley and soy (lab tested for this) and it is for sure despite no symptoms.

I would kind of agree with debilitated here. I was going to get son tested for food allergies(private long established firm here) but a friend down the road (paediatric consultant in liver or kidney(can't remember which)) and she told me not to do it because it can give false results depending on time of day etc as in could send blood samples from son in morning and the results would come back as one thing and then another sample say in the afternoon and it would come up as something completely different.
On the subject of bananas-she recently came back from a medical conference and there was talk(and I think some limited research) that bananas somehow aided Crohns. I will have to speak to her and she if she can recall anymore.

I find it odd that my food allergies tests ONLY shows food intolerances to bananas , asparagus and oysters and not wheat/gluten, whole wheat or milk, but there is a slight intolerance to "whey" which comes from milk. Odd. I guess I haven't had wheat or milk in AGES to really test it out and now I wonder if all that diarrhea/issues I've had since I've had my son (4 years ago) was really mostly the lyphocytic colitis. Hmmm.

either that or the testing is seriously faulty. B/c I know how I feel after I have wheat! I'm way too chicken to try out wheat as a trial for the day. oh man.

I get itching in my mouth and throat when I eat bananas but can tolerate banana bread with no problems. I developed this allergy after I had problems with ragweed allergies and was told the pollens cross-react. I miss bananas a lot but worry that my throat could swell shut if it got bad enough.
