Has anyone tried Fish/Flax & Borage oil supplement?

Just stated taking in the last 2 weeks a Fish/Flax & Borage oil (all in one pill) supplement. It seems to be making the D a little better. Still having to watch what I eat, but seems to be helping. Has anyone else tried this?
My Goal is Not to let having Crohn's Define who I am........

45 year old Female

Diagnosed with Endometriosis in 1991 at age 27. Had to have a full hysterectomy. Treated for a herniated disc for about 5 years before being diagnosed with Crohn's in 2006. Had to have a bowel resection because of complete obstruction. Several Infections from surgery.

Medications: Pentasa ,Imodium, Flax/Fish& Borage Oil...Taken Humira, Asacol, Prednizone, and several others...

No Insurance - Or I would be on other drugs...Just can't afford them.

I tried an Omega 3 that was made from flaxseed, but it gave me bad cramps. I am now looking for an Omega 3 thats is made from fish oil and comes in an enteric coated pill. Good luck!

Something I found that has really helped me is hemp products. I never cook with much fat of any kind, but when I do use oil, I have found that cooking with hemp oil, and using it as a substitue anywhere I would've used butter or margarine, has really helped my GI function.

I'm not much of a meat eater, so I have also added hemp meal, and hemp hearts (or hemp seeds) to a lot of the foods that I eat for the added protein and for the omegas. These are good in soups, mixed into yogurt, salads, or pasta dishes. Hemp is a bit of an aquired taste. It has sort of a nutty flavor to it, but it is not a very strong flavor. Now that I'm used to it, I quite enjoy it. I believe you can find the products at most health food stores.

I have a severe fish allergy, so any of the fish-specific oils were not an option for me. Give the omegas a good try. I believe in their benefits.
