HI everyone.

Just though I'd ask here about something that has been bothering me a bit.

My Crohn's seems to have settled into a bit of a pattern over the last two weeks.

I seem to get pain in the lead up to going to the loo in the morning and then after I go (sorry) the pain gets worse. It stays this way for quite a few hours and then subsides but returns in bouts throughout the afternoon.

Most of the time I don't go to the loo again. Only if it's really bad. AT most maybe only 3 times a day and mostly reasonably normal.

The pain is right across the bottom but at times it is worse on the lower left side which is stranfe as most of my pain was normally on the right.

Just couldn't understand why the pain gets worse and constant after.

Any thoughts?
Diagnosed with Crohn's in November 2009 but suffering since I was a child.

That's what happens to me. I have a lot of inflammation in the rectal area along with a fistula. I pretty much have some degree of pain below the pubic bone all the time. But, when my guts are active, it screams even louder. Pretty much the first half of my day is pretty bad pain. I've got anywhere between 5-10 times a day and sometimes just bloody stuff. If my guts get active again in the evening, the pain is just as bad. I just assume it has to do with the inflammation and then when the bowels have to "work/move" (whatever) that it aggravates the open wounds.
