Wow!! I'm not sure where you live, but I know I paid less than $250 WITHOUT insurance for Entocort (not sure if it was EC, this was 2 years ago) at the Walmart pharmacy.

I did some research and Entocort is produced by AstroZeneca. If you live in the US you can go to www.astrazeneca-us.com and click on the Help Affording your Medicine link on the left. You can see if you qualify.

By the way, most pharmaceutical companies have a medication assistance program for those with no or not very good insurance. There are some companies out there whom you can pay a fee too to get you signed up for this service, but you can do it yourself and save some money.
Dx'd w/ Crohn's in 1979 at age 14. Bad flare 2008 but no health insurance so I dealt with it. Colonoscopy in July 2009 caused a perforated colon, emergency bowel resection. 2 fistula's, perianal and perivaginal.
Dr. wants to try Humira...STILL waiting on that! Not sure what is taking so long...
Currently just take a probiotic, a multivitamin, calcium, magnesium, and fish oil. I also take Tramadol 50 mg and Klonopin (for anxiety) as needed.

This is exactly what I was going to say regarding astrazeneca. Your age would also help in defining whether or not you qualify for other programs as well as marital status. There is tons of assistance out there you just have to find it.
