Has anyone ever had any procedures such as Photo Facials, Laser Hair Removal, Botox or Juviderm while on Humira/Remicade? Do you know if it is safe to do? Thank you.

Lisa,
I have used botox for scarring on my leg. But I have not had any other rest of that done, and especially since you are on A-TNF I would definately ask my doctor.

I know it's not the same, but I had breast reduction surgery last year, and the only thing I noticed is that I healed slower than I would have expected. My GI didn't have any problems with me having the surgery.

I would definitely check with your GI before having anything done, to see if you need to do anything different from the "normal" person.

I had a port and a bypass. they would not put two ports because the insurance may have thought it was breast enhancement surgery and not payed for it. The bypass has made me look younger because had I not had it I would look dead ...
