Iv'e been pushing myself lately to do more and catch up with chores. I am finding that I feel a little better the next day after pushing myself hard the day before, but I hurt while working. This weekend I decided to pressure wash the back patio. Its old bricks just laid on the ground , and it had about a half inch of dirt over it from the flood waters of hurricane Rita. Grass and weeds had started growing over it too. If you have ever used a pressure washer you know theres a catch to it. What ever you wash off of what ever you want clean, you end up wearing. The patio is about 12 feet long and 8 feet wide, that equals 96 square feet of dirt and weeds. When I was done I was glad my neighbors were out of town. I could have been mistakenly shot as I looked very much like the B movie character, Swamp Thing. Mud, moss, grass and weeds all over me . My wife said the boggy creek monster would have run from me, as she hosed me off in the back yard. The water was cold and I think she enjoyed spraying me using the excuse that ," there is no way your going into the house like that ! " After being washed down I had second thoughts about the whole thing and maybe I should have just stripped down to my drawers instead of getting the carwash treatment, but me in the back yard, in nothing but my DRAWERS,,,,now that would be scary...Anyway, ended up with a nice clean patio and I was even able to move the next day. What more can you ask. One less thing on my To Do list. AT this rate I should be done in about 250 years.
If we would read the secret history of our enemies,we would find in each mans life sorrow and suffering enough to disarm all hostility.

I would have to agree I am sure that Cami thoroughly enjoyed that one. I wonder if it will work on my husband? I like the cold water idea ;)

Hey if your loving wife really wanted to get you...she would have put the soap attachment on and washed you down, then rinsed you.
Still waiting for my husband to spray down our deck....I may just throw some extra weeds on there. My own little boogeyman!
Dx'd '90 (emergency rupture), symptoms ignored long before that, '03 fistulas and bad flagyl reactions, B12 weekly, Pentasa [until I surrender to the bigger meds]
