I have been flaring since November. Finally got started on Humira in February and was so excited to see symptoms go away and get back to life. Well, No change other than my CRP have continued to drop and are now in the normal range. However, my D is still ruling my life. I am virtually house bound. So sick of pooing on myself. Nausea is now reared it's ugly head. I don't want to eat anything. For months I have been living on a low residue diet. There is also a new tender spot on the left side of my belly button. By the way I have developed a UTI. I have been very sick over the past 10 days and had to go back to the GI Tuesday. (100 miles away)

Gi started me on Flagel, third time since Nov. Has been pressuring me to take prednazone since for a while and I have resisted because it puts me in a black whole. I am already there. But I feel so bad now I relented to 30mg 1wk, 20mg 1wk, 10mg 1wk, and 5mg 1wk. I have tried immodium and Colestipole for the D and nothing has helped. He ordered a Cat Scan to see if I have a abscess. I have not thought about that. But now this does remind me of how I felt before I had my resection due to fistula at my ilieum large and small intestines. Oh I hope not.

The he hit me with something I don't know how to take. Double Humira! I can't take dose now because infection. But when cleared wants me to take 2 does every 2 weeks. I have never heard annyone on this site having done this. Any input?

Good day!

I am actually doing 2 does once a week now and finally have it under control.  I am seeing my GI in about a week and a half and hoping to lower the dose, but this is what has gotten me into a remission.
