I called in for a few refills to the pharmacy early Monday. They need to be okay'd by my doctor. Well here it is Thursday afternoon, and he has not okay'd them. I called yesterday, and the secretary told me they got the fax, but is still waiting for my doctor to approve it. I asked her if she knew when that would be, because I only have a few pills left here. She said no and "I can't exactly push a doctor". Ummm, well I didn't say for her to go in there and start raving, but a note saying I called and really need this would be nice. Or something like that!

Problem is he's always like this. He will only give you 3 or so refills, then you have to fight to get him to okay more. But he's a great doctor otherwise, so changing isn't an option. My husband is going to try and call today, see where he can get with them. Guess I'm just venting, but I really don't think 4 days is a reasonable wait!

I think that is more than adequate of a wait. Get your hubby to get his tough guy face on and go in there and get that BAD doctor. Hugs!

On a side note, I am part of a HMO, and we have a complaint department. I went to them and complained about my GI for not approving my needed meds. I love my GI and hated to complain about him, but we need our meds. Turned out it was someone in his staff, not passing on the info to him. Grrr!!
