I cannot tolerate my morning coffee anymore!  I can't stay out of the bathroom all morning when I drink it.  I guess I could switch to decaf but I really love my coffee!  I have a big problem with fatigue so it helps me stay alert.  Oh well I just wanted to gripe a little bit this morning and feel sorry for myself. cry

I'm so sorry!! I totally sympathize. Out of all the things I have given up or would potentially have to give up, Coffee would be at the top of the list of what I would have a hard time doing without. Chocolate is second, although I will occasionally suffer thru it and have a couple Hershey's kisses.
Dx'd w/ Crohn's in 1979 at age 13. Bad flare 2008 but no health insurance so I dealt with it. Colonoscopy in July 2009 caused a perforated colon, emergency bowel resection. 2 fistula's, perianal and perivaginal.

Humira, probiotic, a multivitamin, calcium, magnesium, zinc, and fish oil. I also take Tramadol 50 mg and Klonopin (for anxiety) as needed.

Life may not be the party we hoped for, but while we are here we might as well dance!

Could you switch to hot tea? I know.....I know......it's not the same. I'm a tea drinker (LOVE my hot tea!) so it would be like someone suggesting I switch to coffee. Can't do it. BUT since your coffee isn't agreeing with you, tea (black) would still enable you to get your caffeine fix for the day! I feel for ya. I don't know what I would do if I couldn't have my tea.

Oh, I know. It's horrible. I can't even touch a drop of caffeine since I got sick. No coffee, chocolate, caffeinated teas, soda...anything. It keeps me in the bathroom all day. :(
