This was my second follow up with my GI since being diagnosed. I am doing so well that he said he did not need to see me for 6 months unless I had issues. Yippe! No offense to him because he is awesome but I am so over doctors visits right now. I get some more bloodwork done on monday to check my anemia and overall CBC. The iron supplement was just not agreeing with me and I told him I could not take it anymore so he said if my cbc came back ok he was not worried about me taking the supplements. I will be on full dose of entocort the next two months and then I will begin to taper down to 2 pills a day and see how it goes. He said since I was in such a prolinged flare we may have to up the entocort again but he does want to try to ween me. My only still issue is with diarhhea first thing in the morning. I was expecting it to be better by now but literally I am not up 5 minutes before the gurgling starts and here it comes. Luckily though it seems to confine itself to morning which is a blessing. It sucks to get up at 5am every day to include the weekends but it is worth it when I can go about my day after my BMs.

Hey tewcute,

Most Crohnies are the same in the mornings. I am in remission, but still within about 5 min of being awake, I have to hit the bathroom. Hopefully, your blood tests all come back good, and you can enjoy your little respite from your Crohns.

Hugs

thanks nanners!! I also consider myself blessd that I am lucky enough to not have to wke up in the middle of the night to go. I know some have issues with that. I had it happen once but really it was my fault. I ate something I KNEW I should avoid. But sometimes I can't help myself!! smilewinkgrin
