Well, I'd tell myself congrats, but having Crohn's for six months isn't really anything to celebrate.  smilewinkgrin

But, I am celebrating that I made it this far.  I know I have a lifetime journey ahead of me, but so far I've not let this disease get me down.  You all know that sometimes dealing with Crohn's is a daily battle, and I am just thankful that I survived that first initial shock and am doing okay right now.

And it's sunny here!  Should get up in the 70's.  I'm looking forward to a great day.

What a great attitude to have :-). I found out about 3 years ago and I am still in shock and have more bad days then good days (as far as my emotions). I have been very undertreated over the years and have hopfully found a good teaching hospital that will have me feeling better very soon. I know it is very important to have a positive attitude when going through something like this and it is great that you are not letting it bring you down.
37 year old female and a proud mother of 8 kids (5 still living at home) and a very supportive Husband
Found out I had crohn's disease about 3 years ago, I haven't had proper treatment since :-(

Suppose to start Steroid and 6mp next week (May 18, 2010).....I'm so scared :-(
Seton drain was put in on May 4, 2010
I also suffer from very bad anxiety and panic attacks for over 10 years (after my father passed away)
I have tried almost every medication for it but nothing worked or I had a bad side effect so for the last 6 years have been on xanax 1mg., 3x's a day
I started having joint pain about 7 months ago :-(
