ive recently seen in a magazine this thing called the k-pouch. im from australia and im told that its still a new thing here. Is it as good as i think it is?
Ive had my bag for about 4 years now and it doesnt look like i will be able to go back to normal. Ive had nothing but problems with it since i started, and the kpouch has given me a glimpse of hope.
Any help on it would be great, thanks :D

I am not familiar with a K pouch. Actually I have never heard of it. But...you might want to pop over to our Ostomy forum and ask them about it. They may have more info than we do. Good luck!

internal pouches are generally not recommended for Crohn's patients:( but it does depend on where and what kind of Crohn's you have. If you have fistulas most docs won't even try...but there are some (in the US) that will try if your disease in only located in the colon...not a guarantee it will work for long and you have to be the 'perfect' candidate.

What type of problems are you having with your stoma? There are many people on the ostomy forum that might be able to offer suggestions to make things better for you...suffering does not automatically go with ostomies!!
