Hey guys. I have been pretty good recently. But I did notice something different. On occasion, my stool has these mucus looking globs but I am pretty sure its not mucus. They are whitish or light brown in color, and they are semi-soft (reminds me of a larger smooth raisin). If I squeeze it it will flatten. It is really weird. I do not know what it can be?
I have been maintaining my weight for the past 6 months. No real fluctuations. I have 1-2 BM's a day. Sometimes they are a bit loose, sometimes solid. It varies.
   Thanks for the input.

I notice that if I have a fatty meal ie: something fried, that I have what looks like fat in my stool too. I wasn't worried about it reasoning that if it came out there, that was less on my hips. :p
Dx'd w/ Crohn's in 1979 at age 13. Bad flare 2008 but no health insurance so I dealt with it. Colonoscopy in July 2009 caused a perforated colon, emergency bowel resection. 2 fistula's, perianal and perivaginal.

Humira, probiotic, a multivitamin, calcium, magnesium, zinc, and fish oil. I also take Tramadol 50 mg and Klonopin (for anxiety) as needed.

Life may not be the party we hoped for, but while we are here we might as well dance!

ibdoer yes I've noticed oils as well. Could what you see be the outer casing from a medication or supplement you take? I occasionally see the casing from asacol in my toilet, it looks like the complete pill but is only the shell.

if it floats or smells really bad, it might be fat globs.
