I just picked up IBD Self-Management by Sunanda Kane (noted Mayo Clinic GE) and think it's a great book. It's new this year and seems to be state of the state, mentioning many cutting-edge treatments (stem cells, worms, etc.). It covers a lot of ground too: diet, surgery, meds, extra-intestinal symptoms, cancer, lifestyle, etc.

If you are interested in this book you might want to check out Healingwells Bookstore. You could buy the book and support Healingwell at the sametime. JMHO

Crohn's Disease for over 34 years. Currently on Asacol, Prilosec, Estrace, Prinivil, Diltiazem, Percoset prn for pain, Zofran, Phenergan, Probiotics, Calcium, Vit D, and Xanax prn. Resections in 2002 & 2005. Also diagnosed w/ Fibromyalgia, Osteoarthritis, & Anxiety. Currently my Crohns is in remission, but my joints are going crazy!
