This may seem crazy........but the more time passes the more symptomatic I seem to get.  I know more now than I did last year.  But never before do I seem to recall things taking so long to get better.  I have back pain now, associated with an episode.  I notice black where I never did before.  I get hip joint pain and suddenly can seem to see as well (I have 20/15 vision) and am more fatigued on recovery.

I know some of this is meds, some is being a bit more aware of what is going on with me and lastly I have no clue about the rest.  I know I never used to ache like this for days after an episode.  The hell of it is I am trying to take better care of myself especially during/after a rough day or 2.  Anybody notice anything like this.  Is it all really just in my head or what?

I've felt like that in the past -- especially when I was put on prednisone for a flare. It just sucks the energy out of me, and I am sure that it helps me in some way, but it makes me feel like I have been sick for soooo long, plus the joint pain just continues a bit. The fatigue is the worst though -- especially after a bad flare.. I could sleep for a week after a bad flare ends, and I would still be exhausted.
Diagnosed at 17, currently 23 :)  Have had 1 resection so far.  It's been an adventure!

I am currently in remission, but the one thing I have ALL the time is the joint pain. I just woke up a short time ago and I am sitting at the kitchen table leaning on a heating pad as my back hurts so bad. Hugs!

It's been a rough week, and I can't tell WHAT is causing the back pain.  Maybe I'll just do a liquid diet for the next couple weeks. smhair
