Hi:  I know many of you have tried or are on the Maker's diet but have any of you followed the Guts and Glory program by Jordan Rubin?  Just looking for feedback and information.  Thanks!

i have the book, but got it after i was already doing and seeing success on the makers diet. from reading both books, both diets are fairly similar. try one or the other, but i'd recommend the makers diet as that worked for me.

CrazyHarry: Thank you for responding, Rubin has a section in the guts and glory program specific to each digestive complaint that seemed very interesting. Did you try the clay and natural inflammatories? I made the Brasco soup and took the meds on Friday-for the first time in almost 2 years it seemed the symptoms improved. Might be just chance but am off it this weekend and will start back up on Monday and be more pure than Friday. It has taken me awhile just to decode the weird names, find and order the products. Well, anyway . . . .another grand experiment in life with a sample size of 1.

Hi Grumpy!  I used the Guts to Glory program when I was first diagnosed as a way to get all of the junk out of my diet.  I did phase one and phase two, but stopped at phase 3 because I found Breaking the Vicious Cycle, and went that route, which I've been on since then (7 months on SCD).  I did like the individual suggestions for the diseases, and found it was easy to do the first two phases.  I never did the clay....didn't know where to find it.  :)

i never tried the clay and i'd have to check up on what the natural inflammatories are. diet is the key. probiotics and digestive enzymes definitely help.
