Bloodwork came back great!  No RA, lupus, or drug-induced lupus.  Bad news: remicade is probably causing the severe leg pain.  I told my rheumy that I do not want to take remicade anymore.  He will need to coordinate w/ the GI on the next step.  The only options left are: Humira and Cimzia.  Since they are both TNF blockers, my thoughts are that they may affect my legs the same or maybe even worse.  I'm not sure what to do.  I am breaking through (bleeding) already on the remicade at week 4, when I'm supposed to go to 6.  I kinda want to hide for a while w/ no meds to see if my leg pain will go away.  The drs don't seem concerned about the leg pain bc nothing shows up in the bloodwork.  But for me its miserable.  I'd rather have my crohns thank you very much.  But if I get no treatment it could get really bad.... thoughts??
Current meds:  Remicade
Tried:  Prednisone, sulfasalzine, lialda, antibiotics, imuran
29 yr old female w/ crohn's colitis and SEVERE leg pain

I'm glad no RA, lupus etc. I would definitely share your concern about Humira/ Cimizia with the md. Maybe he's got some info -- or a way to treat the leg problem that you haven't thought of.....good luck in any case.
